Yoga For Beginners - Weekly Classes
Mondays @5:30 pm

We offer a fun and friendly atmosphere, and highly experienced teachers that encourage exploration and discussion. Small class sizes at Flourish ensure personal attention and lots of options for poses so you can tailor your practice to your needs.  
 
In our “drop in” style Beginners Yoga classes we explore the key poses in Sun Salutations and other integral Hatha Yoga poses. You'll also learn easy breathing techniques, simple meditation techniques, basic principles of yoga philosophy, and yoga class etiquette. We take a moderate pace and focus on alignment and adjustments so you can easily and safely practice, learn, and grow! 

Yoga 101 - 4 Week Workshop Series

For those who like to go in depth, we also offer Yoga 101 for Beginners- A 4 Week Workshop Series. Each 90 minute workshop covers a different topic, and explores the fundamentals of yoga, including the most common poses and styles we teach. Spaces are limited to ensure individual needs are met- pre-registration is required. Tuition is $55 (+hst) and includes a 4 Class Pass to use during the course so yoga can try out our classes and practice what you've learned!
Week One: FIRST THINGS FIRST! Yoga Etiquette, Yoga Philosophy and the 8 Limbs of Yoga, Hatha Yoga 
 Week Two: SAFETY MATTERS! Twists, Forward Folds, Back Bends, and Inversions 
Week Three: GO WITH THE FLOW! Flow Yoga, Sun Salutations and Standing Poses
Week Four: CALM IS A SUPERPOWER! Restorative Yoga and Meditation
